Hi Friendz!!!

Today there was a threat like orkut will be banned because it was displayed as in many communities there were no(zero) members.

It was due to following acts:

some people were very upset about an anti-Shivaji within Orkut, causing some violence within a few areas in India.

(IBN) The Bombay High Court has asked the state government to file its reply in connection with a pleademanding a ban on social networking site, Orkut, for hosting an anti-Shivaji web community. [...]

The community had been blocked by the Pune police after violent incidents were reported in the city when its existence came to light two weeks ago. Though the community is currently inaccessible, the petitioner has demanded that Orkut, which has captured the fancy of many Indians, be banned.

Orkut has drastic impact on almost all ages of people around the world and also it is useful in many businesses to employ workers and also people can spend their leisure time there by chatting,making more friends,learning new things,sharing knowledge,can express your views regarding sports,country,leaders,daily happenings,politics, etc and much more can be listed.

Orkut shouldn't be banned all of a sudden as it became a part of every IT people and others who are using internet daily. Only those communities which was observed to create problems should be banned.

Concerned authorities should take the necessary steps immediately in order to overcome these kind of threats.

A coin has two sides like that orkut also has two sides (good & bad ).Its upto the people to use it a better way which will contribute for their growth and improvement. Simply banning it will not be the right solution for the cause rather they should look for a alternate way as soon as possible.
